Susan is the best.

Some nail techs here as less experienced but you still get good quality for the price – especially in Manhattan. Susan does the most perfect, thin powder dip nails that grow out perfectly. No gaps at the cuticle that pull your hair, no cracking. I go out of my way to go there during slow times to make sure I can request Susan. Overall the salon is very good for the price

What a horrible service. I just moved to the UWS so I found this place. I came in asking for a design which they said they could do but with the response I already knew there was going to be an issue. Once I sat down at one of their tables, they asked which colors I wanted. It was a three color design, and she kept saying that there was an extra price to the colors. I was okay with the price I just wanted to know if she was sure that she can do the design. She kept stalling for about 10 mins and not wanting to start my nails, and I then just asked her to do a French manicure because I was just over it. Not only did she do the lines SO THICK, I asked her to do gel and she started doing powder. At that point i just wanted her to finish and for me to get out of there.
This is the only picture I have with those nails because I was so embarrassed to be out with these nails. NEVER AGAIN

I used to love this place, until I started noticing how bad some of the manicure ladies were picking on a very young probably new and inexperienced girl , they were literally bullying that girl , I felt so incredibly sorry for her, I guess she ended up being fired or quite her job( I wouldn’t blame her) I have always noticed the ladies speaking on their own language and never had an issue with it until I started to be uncomfortable with the laughs and comments in their own language, I felt so uncomfortable and made an unhappy face, they noticed and started to change the subject in English. I think they do a good job with the nails to be honest it’s just the unprofessional gossip and bullying towards the other ladies who works there too. They do indeed rush you, and can be rough.

A few years ago I decided to walk into this nail salon assuming it was a good place to do my nails. I had a bad experience since I felt that for the money they charge their customer service is very poor. I never went back. Today at around 4:40 in the afternoon I decided to give it a try one again. This time around was even way. The lady doing my nails was very rude. She was literally rushing me as if she was in a hurry. While she was cutting my cuticles I asked her to I had a lot of cuticles pointing at it with my finger and she pushed my hand away as if she was disciplining a child. I had to let her know “excuse me don’t do that, how dare you.” The lady next to her apologized for her and then they proceeded to speak in their language, as usual. They treat you different when you are white. Another customer came in way after me and I was already seated and drying my nail while they were still doing her pedicure with foot massage and better treatment. Once she was finished with me, She then asked if I wanted a pedicure, in which I responded with a no thank you. Never again will they ever see me there. I work for Columbia University, I’ll make sure to let the students know where to go since they also over charge for their mediocre work.

Been to this place twice. Each time they did an ok job but it is the nail salon nearest to my home so even though it was just ok I still went a second time, again not impressed. But I go again tonight for a re-touch and the lady at the desk didn’t understand what I was saying and walked away rudely mid conversation, another lady screamed from the other side of the room and rudely yelled “what do you want done?” I told her that I just wanted to do the same as last time and showed her my nails and she said we don’t do that kind of work here (again… they have already done it twice). But she rudely kept shaking her head and finger saying “No” over and over again, very rude. I can’t believe the service I got here, I have never been treated with such attitude. I literally left politely saying thank you since I just could not process what just happened but now thinking about it when I got home… it was not ok!!
