AVOID!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this nail shop earlier today. As a visitor from the UK, I couldn’t help but feel that the moment they heard my accent, they decided to inflate the prices, assuming I wouldn’t notice.

I visited for a infill, as well as a repair on two broken nails, expecting an additional charge, which is perfectly reasonable. However, the issues began when I was charged $6 per broken nail, higher than the advertised price of $5. What’s more concerning was the unprofessionalism of the technician. Instead of using appropriate tools, she resorted to using a metro subway card to detach the acrylic from my natural nail. This not only caused pain but demonstrated a lack of care and competence.

Afterward, during the infill, the technician informed me that the total cost would be $55 plus tax, despite the price list indicating an infill with gel color should cost $40. When I questioned the discrepancy, she explained a $3 charge for a “cut down,” which left me puzzled. Shouldn’t infills naturally include trimming nails if needed?

Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience. The service was atrocious, and the technicians seemed disinterested and eager to leave. I would not consider returning to this establishment, even if offered free services.

Did’nt like how my nail look, I provided my own powder which last up to 2 months with no crackn or peeln. You can see light spots from not packing the powder in those areas and too expensive. They want 50 for my own powder and 10 to soak off old powder. Where I go in mid manhattan dont charge for soak off.

Been coming here for a few months and always have had a good experience. They’re pretty quick & friendly and do a good job for both manicures & pedicures. I usually get dip powder but they have tons of gel and polish options too.
